We will see 3 waterfalls on this trip, but we are searching for another one. Apparently, there is one near Casa En EL Aire in Abejorral. We also want to see this house, which is literally built on the side of a cliff in the mountain. The 3 waterfalls we will see are Santa Elena, Tequendamita Falls in Retiro, and Salta Del Buey. If time, there is another waterfall in Retiro as well. This trip can be a day trip or overnight trip.
Beta Tour to Abejorral
This journey is quite an interesting one as the waterfalls here are actually in parks. You will see a minimum of 3 waterfalls and these waterfalls will always be in your memory as they are both beautiful and amazing, one of them having amazing force as you get sprayed from the area you are taking photos from. We will begin our journey from Medellin and travel to Salta de Buey. The walking trip to this waterfall is unforgettable, It begins with a tunnel of flowers and a hike down quite a few stairs. It takes about 20 minutes to hike down to the waterfall and is definitely worth the trip. You will continue on to Casa en el Aire and see another waterfall on the way. You will stay the night in Abejorral and then head to Retiro in the morning to see another tremendous waterfall. This park is very beautiful so do not forget your camera.
