Welcome to Jerico, one of the friendliest towns in all of Colombia, and possibly the safest. Jerico is relatively unknown by tourists and has a variety of activities for tourists to do. There is definitely something for everyone. This is also one of the towns where the landscapes are beyond breathtaking. Our tour will take you on a path to 3 waterfalls on Day 1 and a city tour in the afternoon. On Day 2, you will join a coffee tour with Nohelia Farms – you can choose. They are rated a 5 out of 5 stars on Tripadvisor. Their service is top notch and a very friendly family. On our return trip back to Bello, Medellin, we will stop at the final waterfall.
Overview
This place is quite different than the others. It’s an extraordinarily small and beautiful town with more things to do than the other more popular towns. I know this is cliche, but Jerico is truly a hidden gem. We will depart from Niqui Metro Station and head to Bolombolo where we will see our first waterfall. Then we will continue to Pueblorrico for our second waterfall and lunch. We will arrive in Jerico in the afternoon and meet the Nohelia family, a family whose business is mainly coffee. After you check into your hotel, you will take a walking city tour with one of their guides. You will return to your accommodation (possibly at the farm itself) and you can enjoy your hotel, walk around the center, or relax. The following day, you will be guided on a coffee tour with the utmost hospitality you could ask for in Colombia. After your tour, we will have lunch and then continue to our final waterfall.
