All-Inclusive Overnight Concepcion-Alejandria Adventure Tour

2 Days

Alejandria is a small town located in Eastern Antioquia, 56 miles (90 km) from Medellin. It has a variety of things to do such as fish, visit waterfalls where you can take a dip and swim, tube down a river, swim in natural pools in a river, hike, and take kayaks down the river. There is a water park referred to in Colombia as a “Balneario” and named as Balneario Nudillales and is literally on the Nare River where kids and adults alike can enjoy the day out away from the city life. Tourists outside of the country barely know about this adventurous town. Not much is said in travel guides and basically nothing on major travel sites. Waterfalls Tours is the most comprehensive site for this excellent adventurous town. There is a plethora of things to do in Alejandria, Antioquia Colombia. There are many festivals throughout the year, including music, sports, delicious food festivals, and history festivals. This ALL-INCLUSIVE tour may be one of the most fun tours you could have with the family outside of Medellin at the best cost. Get out of the tourist crowds and expensive tourist traps of Guatape and Jardin and take an actual adventure, where you can hike, tube, swim, fish, see spectacular waterfalls and stay in colorful cabins with extraordinary scenic views of lush green mountains all for one low price and mostly in one area. The garden around the cabins is covered in array of beautiful flowers and the area is very shady. The Balneario is only open on weekends and holidays so if you prefer a weekday, we can arrange close to the same tour, you will just stay the night in a hotel instead of cabins, and the itinerary will be slightly different. However, the same amount of waterfalls are seen,

We will meet at Niqui Metro Station unless otherwise stated with your group. Our adventure will begin driving to San Vicente to see your first spectacular waterfall. You may see many birds, butterflies, cows, some donkeys and horses. Then, your adventure continues on to a town called, Concepcion where you will eat lunch in an old-style Colombian restaurant. This is a very colonial town where you will see a cultural museum and take a city tour. Then, your VIP venture begins. Before leaving Concepcion, you will visit an amazing waterfall with extravagant scenery that has three falls and plenty of room to bathe in the water at this waterfall. After your specified time here, you will be driven to your cabins at the Balneario. Here, you will have dinner, swim, relax, or whatever you want to do and of course remain the night in your cabin. The following day, you will take a tube ride down the Rio Nare with very friendly and experienced guides. During this tube ride, you will see 3 amazing waterfalls. Then, you will return and have lunch at the Balneario. After lunch, we will return to the Balneario or Medellin, whatever your choice is. What is a private tour?

A private tour is when you are with your specific group. 2 persons will always be considered private. Tours of 3 or more persons is considered public unless the group specifies that they want to be a private tour. The privacy is only the transportation part and walks to certain waterfalls. For this particular trip, this does not extend to the Balneario or tube rides as there may be other groups since these are different companies. However, if you have a certain number of people, then all areas become private. If you have a group of 6 at the Balneario, each couple will have their own private cabin, but there may or may not be other couples in other cabins. When you have a private group of 1-4 people, your transport is in a car; therefore, you can stop and take photos where you want. More than 5 persons, you will ride in a van or sometimes 2 cars will carpool. We will discuss your tour with your group beforehand and let your tour leader know.
