Barbosa is a small town just an hour north of Medellin. It has an old train station, many farms which are referred to as fincas with pools to stay the night or two, a variety of places to fish for trout, and lots of waterfalls with good hikes and a very popular waterpark. Some waterfalls are a little difficult to get to, but with this trip you will see a minimum of FOUR waterfalls. There is a little bit of hiking on this trip. If you are looking for something quick to do and do not have much time in Medellin, this is the perfect day trip for you.
Overview
We will embark on a journey of a minimum of 5 waterfalls, 3 in Barbosa, Antioquia Colombia and 2 in Cisneros, Antioquia Colombia. We will have a delicious lunch in Barbosa and continue to the town of Cisneros. One of these waterfalls you will see from a distance. We will also visit an old train station.
