Clearly both countries have beautiful landscapes and beautiful waterfalls. The biggest difference between these two countries with waterfalls is that the overwhelming majority of waterfalls in the USA are in state-owned parks. In Colombia, some waterfalls are in parks, some are even on the side of the road, but the majority are hidden. Some are even on private property. To get to most of these waterfalls, one has to walk, anywhere between 10 minutes and a few hours. For a variety of waterfalls, you can get there by car or truck, but you need to drive down dirt, rocky roads that can often be difficult for low riding cars or other low riding vehicles.
